ESCOLI is a leading e-store with men’s clothing and accessories, operating on the Polish market. The offer of the store is addressed in particular to young people who follow new trends and want to buy fashionable, good-quality clothes at reasonable prices. Despite the short presence on the market, ESCOLI is a dynamically developing brand that is already well-known. The e-store is functioning on the Magento platform and notices approximately 180 thousand visits per month.The cooperation with IDEA07 began in 2015. The owner of the company asked us to take care of his e-store that is based on Magento. We were supposed to be responsible also for the omnichannel promotion.
We began our e-commerce adventure with services of freelancers with whom we had a lot of problems. We decided to start cooperation with a professional interactive agency. After a detailed analysis of the market, we chose IDEA07.

1. Design of new layout with the use of the RWD technology
A detailed UX analysis showed that the previous layout of the store was unintuitive and this influenced product sales. The first task was to design and implement a new layout for the store based on the Magento platform. The result of our work is a new e-store which color palette refers to the character of the ESCOLI brand. The use of large pictures in the slider allowed to make the products more visible. The whole template was designed in the Responsive Web Design technology so customers can do the shopping also on their mobile devices.
2. Server infrastructure for handling large traffic
ESCOLI focuses its marketing efforts mainly on the social media. The main problem that our client had to face was the e-store crashes and failures caused by large traffic during Facebook promotional campaigns. After analyzing traffic data we developed optimized infrastructure of hosting in the Oktawave cloud. The solution allows flexible parameters setting, adjusted to the current load of the server. What is more, we implemented our own server solution that significantly increases the speed of the website. We also introduced website monitoring and a real-time mirror for the e-store.
3. Integration with Allegro
A key element for our client was to implement a new distribution channel for his products. Therefore, we prepared a full integration of the store with the Allegro platform. The solution allows creating and publishing auctions, managing orders and design a template of auctions – all of these in one, intuitive view that is a part of Magento backend. Introducing the additional distribution channel influences not only the product sales but also a traffic in the e-store.
A major problem of our client was a high rate of abandoned carts (51%). In order to decrease the number, we implemented several solutions. One of them was rebuilding the cart so it could be more intuitive and buying process was as simple as possible. E-mail and sms follow-up marketing were also introduced and this in turn, resulted in reactivation of significant number of clients.
5. Google AdWord dynamic remarketing
Remarketing campaigns are currently the most effective form of advertising because they help to reach users who have already visited a store and are interested in products offered by the store. The implementation of remarketing solutions allowed to reach to particulars users of ESCOLI. This had the key influence on the cart conversion.
6. Developed reporting system
A significant increase in sales resulted in the need of a comprehensive, well-developed reporting system implementation. The system includes several modules comprising a module for adding, editing and managing promotional vouchers integrated with a reporting module – again everything is available in one, simple view in the Magento administration panel.
